The book contains a long interview/conversations with first generation teacher of the Alexander Technique, Kitty Wielopolska. Kitty trained with F.M. Alexander in his first training course in the begining of the 1930s.
Kitty Wielopolska passed away in 1988. The inteview was done by Joe Armstrong over a period of several years, between 1979-1985. It is a stirring tribute to her sixty-year long dedication to the Technique, showing how it inspired her to overcome schizophrenia to eventually become one of America's most influential and beloved teachers.
